Enrollment

Enroll in 4 easy steps:

Enrollment in the Athletes 1st Academy is through our parent school, the Talega Preparatory Academy. You will have an opportunity to choose the Athletes 1st Academy program on the enrollment application.

Step 1: Prepare your Parent and Student Forms

The information and forms required for registration in our programs meet the legal requirements for most states that allow independent homeschooling or homeschooling under an umbrella school. We request only what the law requires. If your state requires you to do more, we will let you know after we review your application. Feel free to contact us in advance of enrollment to determine your state's requirements.

Step 2: Complete the Online Application, Choose any Optional Services,  Upload Forms and Documents

 

Access the online application by clicking the button above. Upload your completed forms and documents when prompted. 

  • Teacher Statement - You will provide information about yourself including any education (high school or above), business, volunteer, or personal experience that would help you be able to teach your child. In most states, you do NOT need teaching experience, credentials, or licenses.

  • Course of Study-This is a brief description of your education plan for the year. It may be as brief as stating the subjects and curriculum titles you plan to use, and any specific books or other resources you plan to utilize.

  • Records Transfer Request-Please include the name, address, phone, and registrar's email address of the school your student(s) attended immediately prior to enrolling with us.  (You may include multiple students on one form)

  • Immunization Record, if you vaccinate. (California independent study students are not required to be vaccinated. Check your state's requirements.) Additional health forms may be required after enrollment per your state's homeschool laws.

 

Step 3: Pay your tuition and fees.

 

When your application has been reviewed, we will email an invoice to Parent #1. 

Once all forms and payments are received, you will be sent an official "Enrollment Confirmation." 

Step 4: Withdraw from your current school, if applicable.
You can officially withdraw your child(ren) from the current school after you receive our official Enrollment Confirmation. (See our sample Withdraw Statement on the Forms page.) We will request the transfer of each student’s transcript and verify enrollment if necessary.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition for non-Gap year students is $330 per year for the first student enrolled. Additional children from the same family are only $30 per year each.

Tuition for the Gap Year Program is $450/year per student.

 

A one-time-only $50 new student fee applies to each student upon enrollment.

 

High School students incur an additional $50 annual fee.

Optional Online Curriculum:

Accelerate Education: $750/student per year.

Ignitia (Christian-themed): $750/student per year.

Academic Support Package: $1500/student per school year. (Enrollment is limited)
